IMPORTANT THRIFT CRAWL MERCH UPDATE!
A quick heads-up for everyone planning to join us on September 26th! The official Thrift Crawl tote bags are taking a little longer in production than expected.
Orders placed today, September 11th, are currently estimated to be delivered by September 23rd. While that is before the crawl, I don’t want anyone cutting it too close and worrying about whether their merch will arrive in time.
If you want to ensure you have your official crawler merch in hand for this crawl, I recommend ordering the T-shirt. 👕 Shirts take approximately 3 days just for production, PLUS you need to allow time for shipping and delivery.
So if you’re planning on joining us, PLEASE don’t sit on your merch order! The sooner you order, the better!
That said, tote bag orders are absolutely welcome! The tote is a great option if you’re planning to join us for future crawls and bus trips, since your official merch will continue to be valid for participating promotions.

The First Adventures of the Thrifty & Frugal Thrift Crawl Is Happening!
I promised you I had something in the works… and now I can finally tell you about it!
For quite some time, I’ve had people reach out to me with the same question:
“When are we going thrifting together?”
Well, my thrifties… IT’S HAPPENING!Â
I am incredibly excited to officially announce the FIRST Adventures of the Thrifty & Frugal THRIFT CRAWL, happening Saturday, September 26, 2026, throughout the New Holland, Leola and Blue Ball area of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. I had posted my itinerary before, check it out here:
And I have to tell you, this is something I've been wanting to do for a while. I've always believed that thrifting is about so much more than finding inexpensive things. It's about the thrill of the hunt, discovering something unexpected, supporting local organizations and businesses, finding treasures that have a story, and—perhaps most importantly—the people you meet along the way.
So when so many of you started telling me that you wanted to thrift with me, I thought…
WHY NOT?!
And that's how the idea for the Adventures of the Thrifty & Frugal Thrift Crawl was born.
So… What Exactly Is a Thrift Crawl?
This isn't going to be a traditional group tour where everyone has to meet at a certain time, pile into a vehicle and follow a strict itinerary.
Instead, I'm creating a self-guided thrift adventure that allows you to shop at your own pace and make the day your own.
On Saturday, September 26, you'll be able to visit the participating thrift stores throughout the New Holland, Leola and Blue Ball area in whatever order you choose and anytime during their regular business hours.
Want to spend an hour digging through the racks at one store? Go for it.
Want to breeze through one and spend two hours at another? Absolutely.
Want to grab lunch in between? Even better!
The idea is to give you the freedom to create your own thrift adventure while still being part of something bigger.
And, of course…I'll be out there too!
I'll be rotating between the participating stores throughout the day, meeting and greeting as many of you as I possibly can. And you KNOW I'm going to want to see your hauls!
One of my favorite things about thrifting is seeing what catches someone else's eye. We can walk into the exact same store and come out with completely different treasures, and I love seeing what everyone is picking up.
Why Do You Need the Thrift Crawl Merch?
The official Adventures of the Thrifty & Frugal Thrift Crawl shirt or tote bag is going to serve a couple of purposes.
First, it lets participating businesses know that you're part of the crawl. I've been reaching out to local businesses to see what kinds of special discounts, promotions and perks I can arrange for those participating in the crawl. When you wear your shirt or display your tote, participating businesses will be able to recognize you as part of our group and provide whatever special offer has been arranged.
But honestly, the merch is about more than discounts. It's about COMMUNITY. I want people to walk into these stores and see other people having the same merch and immediately know:
“Hey! You're part of the thrift crawl too!”
How fun would it be to start chatting with someone you've never met because you both spotted the same thrifting merch? That's exactly the kind of atmosphere I want to create. I've built the Adventures of the Thrifty & Frugal community around our shared love of thrifting, yard sales, vintage finds and good old-fashioned bargain hunting. This crawl is another way for all of us to connect in person.

My goal is to make this a really fun experience for everyone who participates, while also creating an opportunity for us to support the local businesses and nonprofit organizations that make up our local thrifting community. Some offers will come together. Some might not. And there may even be some surprises that I haven't announced yet. Why New Holland, Leola & Blue Ball?
For our first crawl, I wanted to focus on an area that has a great mix of thrift stores and that I personally enjoy exploring. The New Holland, Leola and Blue Ball area has plenty of opportunities to dig, hunt and discover—and it's an area I visit during my own thrifting adventures. And that's important to me.
I don't want these crawls to feel like something completely separate from what I already do.
I want them to be an extension of Adventures of the Thrifty & Frugal and the kinds of thrift adventures I've been sharing with you all along.
This Is Only the Beginning
Here's something else I want you to know: This will NOT be the last Thrift Crawl.
New Holland, Leola and Blue Ball are just the beginning. There are so many areas that I regularly travel to for my own thrifting adventures, and I would love to eventually bring the Thrift Crawl to some of those places, too. And for areas that are a little farther away? I'm already dreaming about THRIFT BUS TRIPS! Imagine loading up a bus full of thrifties and spending the day exploring stores somewhere outside our usual stomping grounds. YES!!! I want to do that. So if you purchase official Thrift Crawl merch, don't think of it as something you'll only use once. SAVE IT! It opens doors to other thrift adventures down the road.

I honestly don't know exactly what September 26 is going to look like yet.I just know it's going to be FUN. There will probably be a whole lot of digging through racks. There will be people comparing treasures.There will probably be some questionable purchases that we absolutely did not need but simply could not leave behind. And hopefully there will be a whole lot of laughing, connecting and making new thrift friends. That's what I'm most excited about. I've spent years sharing my thrifting adventures online, and now I finally get to meet some of the people who have been following along on those adventures.
